Actually what you'll find are links to(and some comments on) some of the sites on the Web that I consider particularly interesting as they reflect my singular obsessions.To whit:
UFO's,Conspiracies,paranoia,cults,bizarre phenomenon,mysticism ,occult,apocalyptic theologies ,right wing para-militaryism,extreme politics and....well I guess it's just FORTEANA in general.Most of the time I find myself laughing out of sheer nervousness when I'm reading this stuff,but being a good Fortean I digest,assimilate in a non judgemental way and just entertain myself .Of course,being a card carrying cynic I also mock with ill-hidden glee and generally think of myself as being very lucky that I haven't fallen for any of this Snake oil..YET.
That,my friend,is the trick.Hope I can get the hang of it.
Some people get involved in this stuff due to some idealistic idea that by immersing themselves in all this information they may get an idea of what the "truth" is and thereby attain some kind of spiritual freedom or at least confirmation that the Universe has a sense of justice and eventual reward on a Macro -level and that we all aren't essentially fucked.
Me? I just like a good laugh.And I enjoy being tantalizingly baffled.
Approached with the right frame of mind these sites could entertain you endlessly,filling your cup of mirth to the brim.And who knows: maybe.....just maybe.......you might find an element of the TRUTH somewhere after all,and maybe.....just maybe...it WILL set you free..........but I doubt it!!!!!!!!

Why ??? becuase it was so TOTALLY perverse,nehilistic,offensive,degrading and un-remittingly politically inorrect that I had no choice but to LOVE him and his then wife,Debbie Goad.I'm still not altogether sure how much of what these guys write is for real,but I get a feeling that thier mission is to fuck with your liberal bullshit mind.Debbie died of cancer some time ago and Jim has spent mucho time-o in chokey for a slight altercation with his new girlfriend which resulted in her getting a bust in the snoot!Very confrontational writing...truly underground.

Robert Anton Wilson is one of "THEM",I'm sure.But reading his tripped out,darkly humorous and thoroughly thought provoking books certainly helped me to focus my intelligence.He also helped me to understand that paranoia can be fun!His site is a fascinating trawl through futurism and his links page is fantastic.Also there lots of these:

When I read "Passport to Magonia" by Jaque Vallee I realised the UFO phenomenon had a LOT more to it than popular culture had led us to believe.The theory that we're being visited by aliens in nuts and bolts "space ships" need to be crtically re-appraised and anyone who still believes this is the ONLY explaination for ALL the evidence is just not looking at everything with a clear mind.The magazine Magonia is an excellent read ,especially if you're not dogmatic about the whole shebang.
I read New Scientist regularly....I find entrenchment of any kind fascinating and when I realised that science is VERY scared of new ideas I felt that I just had to keep up.It soon became obvious that in every field of science it has been the maverick mind that's kept up the forward momentum.All great scientific advancements were demonised before they were eventually,and grudgingly,accepted.This site is superb for anyone who wants to know what makes us tick on this dimensional level.
